The card you get is a coherent starting point, not a finished character. The fastest way to make it sing is to do exactly what good card authors do: get specific. Swap the sampled quirks for ones that mean something to your story, sharpen the first message so it sets the exact tone and length you want back, and rewrite the example dialogue in the character's real voice — that single field shapes how the AI talks more than any other.
