Voyage Invite Codes (2026): You Don't Need One Any More
You do not need a Voyage invite code. There is no waitlist either. Latitude’s open beta, released on 26 August 2026, removed both — its own release notes carry the heading “No waitlist, no invite code” — and Voyage has been open to anyone on the web, iPhone and Android ever since.

Why People Are Still Hunting for Codes
The codes were real, and they were recent. Voyage ran a closed beta, and then an expanded beta in which players who already had access were periodically handed invite codes to give to friends, while everyone else joined a waitlist. That phase ran for months. It is when most of the internet’s writing about Voyage access was produced — the Reddit threads, the Discord messages, the YouTube videos, the “here’s how to get in” posts. All of it was accurate at the time and none of it has been taken down.
There is a second reason, and it is more awkward: Latitude’s own help centre still describes the old system. Its Voyage access page, live as we write this, tells players that “all players with Voyage access now have the option to give out invite codes to their friends, with more codes being given out every few weeks,” points at Discord and Reddit as places where “community members will occasionally post invite codes,” and describes the product as being in “Expanded Beta.”
We are not scoring Latitude down for that, and the page is honest about itself — it carries its own banner saying the subject “is rapidly changing, and may not be completely up to date.” But it is the first result a lot of people find, it is on Latitude’s own domain, and it contradicts Latitude’s own release notes. If you landed on it and came away thinking you needed a code, nothing was wrong with your reading.
The release notes are the current source, and they are unambiguous: “Open Beta removes the waitlist, enabling anyone to play Voyage.”

You sign in with a Latitude account — the same one AI Dungeon uses. If you already have an AI Dungeon account, you already have a Voyage account, and one subscription covers both products.

Voyage was designed phone-first, around short sessions rather than a whole evening at a desk, and it is the most native-feeling AI RPG we have played on a phone. The browser version is the same product; the phone is the one it was built around.
If Something Still Asks You for a Code
Nothing in the current Voyage requires a code. So if you are being asked for one, one of three things is happening.
You are on an old page or an old build. Go to voyage.io directly rather than through a link from a forum post, and make sure the app is updated.
You are looking at the expanded-beta documentation. See above. It is stale, not a different product.
Somebody is trying to sell you something. Treat any site offering to sell, generate, or “unlock” a Voyage invite code as a scam. There is nothing to sell — the product is free to enter — so a site collecting your email, your card details or your Latitude login in exchange for a code is collecting them for a different purpose entirely. What You Get Without Paying
Getting in costs nothing, and a free account is a real account rather than a trial.
- Single-player: a limited usage demo.
- Public multiplayer: unlimited. Latitude hosts public servers, they are free for anyone to join, and they stay open as players come and go.
- Memory is mostly not sold by tier. Voyage Unlimited is the paid side: unlimited play on core features, plus a weekly usage budget for premium ones such as voice narration, better story engines and Studio AI. Playing With Friends, Without Codes
The invite-code question has a second life here, because people assume bringing a friend in needs one. It does not — Latitude’s release notes say plainly that “your friends can join without an invite code.”
There are three shapes of shared play, all described from Latitude’s own material:
- Public servers. Hosted by Latitude, free to join, open-ended. Start from the lobby or drop into an adventure already underway.
- Private co-op. Start a private server and share an invite with up to four players. Only the host spends usage, so a friend can join and play without spending their own.
- DM Mode. One player guides the scene, speaks and acts through the NPCs, responds to choices, and can intervene before a turn resolves.

”Open Beta” Still Means Beta
Open access is not the same as finished. Voyage is still in open beta, and Latitude has pointed at early 2027 for the full 1.0 release. Things move: the free tier has already been redefined once since the beta began, which is the reason this page carries a date and names its sources rather than just telling you how it works.
That is also why we rate it. Our rule for scoring has always been access rather than the vendor’s label — if the public can get in without an invite, it is a product people are choosing between, and it gets a score. Voyage passed that test in August 2026, the same way Craft, ArcQuill and Tidefall did before it.

Is Voyage on iPhone and Android? Yes, both. The app is called Voyage AI RPG Platform and it is published by Latitude Inc. — check that publisher line before you install, because app stores carry a lot of lookalike AI apps. It also runs in a browser at voyage.io, and the same account works everywhere.
